Absolute Must Have

• Technical support experience with triaging & troubleshooting issues
• AWS Certified - Devops / Solutions Architect+
• High proficiency with scripting using shell scripts
• Linux Server Administration - CentOS/AWS Linux

Must Have

• Experience on CI Tools - Jenkins
• Experience on build scripting like MAVEN/Gradle, etc
• Experience on Configuration and Deployment tool - Chef / Puppet / Ansible
• Experience on Version Control system (GitHub preferred)
• Proficient on AWS Cloud (EC2, EC2 Container Service, S3, Elastic File System, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS)
• Monitoring tool experience like Splunk/ Nagios/ Icinga
• Understanding on Application servers - Nginx etc
• Experience with Centralized Log collection, management and analytics using Splunk/ELK

Nice to Have

• Understanding of Cloud and virtualization-based technologies, e.g. Docker, VMWare, OpenStack
• Understanding on PaaS-oriented development & implementations (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Understanding of provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and scaling of large hosted platforms in a microservice environment
• Understanding of industrial protocols (MODBUS, NMEA etc.)

% Breakdown of Responsibilities

• Full ownership for SMARTShip Production Infra
• To provide Cloud infrastructure monitoring and support to ensure smooth operations
• To perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities such as service requests, report generation, incident response, patch management
• To Support Front end Customer issues related to cloud/shore infrastructure
• Triage the production issue on SMARTShip product
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
